How the program works

  1. Find your starting levelA short placement check shows which courses you can skip, so you don’t relearn what you already know.
  2. Work through weekly modulesEach course is a set of short lessons, worked examples and a problem set that uses real company filings and market data.
  3. Finish with your own planThe capstone ends with a written investment policy statement: your goals, allocation, rules and what you’ll do when markets fall.

What this program isn’t

  • Not a signals groupYou won’t get trade alerts. You’ll learn to make your own decisions.
  • Not day tradingEvery course is built around holding periods measured in years.
  • Not a get-rich-quick promiseNo one can promise returns. This program teaches judgment, not shortcuts.

Taught by MrFlourish

MrFlourish learned markets the hard way: trading options. Over time he moved from short-term trading to long-term investing and built this program around what he wishes he’d been taught first.

He also hosts the MrFlourish Podcast and writes a weekly letter on the economy and markets.

Questions

Is this a real MBA?

No. The Market MBA is an independent education program, not an accredited degree. The name reflects the depth and structure of the material: it’s built like a course of study, not a collection of videos.

Do I need any experience?

No. Level 100 assumes you’ve never placed a trade. If you already invest, the placement check lets you start higher.

How much money do I need to start investing?

You don’t need any to take the program. The skills apply whether you’re investing $50 a month or managing a large portfolio.

What does it cost?

Membership is $75 a month and includes every level and course. If you’re already a MrFlourish Invests member, you can add The Market MBA for $50 a month, so both sites together cost $125 instead of $150.
